Breaking News is a staple agenda for NBN from the Core Set. It is often scored in a single turn to simply Fast Advance a single agenda point.
However, it is also often scored across turns to place almost unavoidable tags on the runner, and then use the runner's temporary tagged state to trash key runner Resources such as Kati Jones, set back the runner with Closed Accounts, or Flatline them with Scorched Earth.
